Last week I had the unbelievable opportunity to work with department store powerhouse, Nordstrom! I was contacted to participate in a campaign called YOUphoria, which is all about finding your “YOU”phoria in fashion. Whether it be a pair of killer heels, a statement necklace, a chic dress or sassy top, every girl has that one piece that makes her feel extra confident, energetic… blissful. Myself and two other Chicago bloggers (Liz and Jena) are a part of the Fashion Face-off and were treated to a day of shopping, make-up artists, stylists, photogs, etc. Talk about feeling like a princess, Nordstrom really knows how to create the most amazing shopping experience!

I found my YOUphoria in a piece that is both trendy and timeless. Something I can wear during any season and pair with pretty much any outfit: the leather jacket. The cut of this Helmut Lang is perfection and no other option lived up to it, so I chose that for my “investment piece” and styled around it. Nordstrom exclusively works with another one of my favorite brands, Maison Scotch, whose patterns are to die for. The pants are even better in person, navy and neon coral, yes please! 

Now, no judging! I created a video of the day so you all could get some more behind the scenes footage. Umm, I am so awkward in the video and sorry about some of the quality.
